Author Guidelines

ShiMej - Research. Reveal. Rise.

1. Scope of Submission

ShiMej hosts multiple academic journals across various disciplines. Authors must select the appropriate journal from the Journals tab on our website and submit their manuscripts through the designated Submission section of that journal.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 Accepted File Formats

Authors can submit their manuscripts in:

  • Microsoft Word (.docx)
  • LaTeX (.tex) with PDF output

2.2 Formatting Guidelines

  • Title: Calibri, 26 pt, Bold
  • Body Text: Cambria (Body), 11 pt, Justified
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: Top and buttom 1-inch, Left and right 0.8-inch

2.3 Manuscript Structure

All submissions should follow the structure below:

  1. Title Page – Title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact information.
  2. Abstract – A concise summary (150-250 words) outlining the research objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.
  3. Keywords – 3-5 relevant keywords.
  4. Introduction – Background, research objectives, and problem statement.
  5. Methodology – Detailed explanation of research methods, data collection, and analysis.
  6. Results & Discussion – Presentation of findings with interpretations and supporting evidence.
  7. Conclusion – Summary of key insights and potential future research directions.
  8. References – Formatted in APA (7th Edition) or IEEE style.

3. Submission Process

  1. Visit the Journals tab on ShiMej's Website.
  2. Select the relevant journal for submission.
  3. Navigate to the Submission section of that journal.
  4. Upload the manuscript in Word (.docx) or LaTeX (.tex) format.
  5. Complete the submission form and confirm the submission.
  6. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission.

4. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure quality and originality.
  • Reviewers assess technical accuracy, research significance, and overall contribution to the field.
  • Authors may be required to revise their submissions based on reviewer feedback.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
  • Authors must ensure that their research adheres to ethical publishing standards and does not contain fabricated or manipulated data.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed during submission.

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • Published articles are licensed under Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0).
  • Authors retain copyright but grant ShiMej the right to publish and distribute the manuscript.
